CLC Youth High School Ministry

High schoolers are invited to sign up for youth events and our contact list. We meet throughout the school year for youth group nights and events. Please check the church calendar for those dates.

High School Youth Ministry is open to students in 9th-12th Grade.

Each year we have a summer Youth Trip, either a Mission Trip or the ELCA Youth Gathering (happens every 3 years, next one is 2027). If you are interested in attending please let Heather know.

For 2025-2026 School Year we are gearing up for a Youth Mission Trip to South Dakota, details below. Please let Heather know if you are interested.

Introducing our 2026 Youth Mission Trip

We are heading to South Dakota!

Our 2026 Youth Mission Trip is open to students entering 8th –12th grade. Tentatively we have picked Cheyenne River, South Dakota as our 2026 Mission Trip destination. In the middle of South Dakota, surrounded by rolling green hills and endless skies, lies the beautiful Cheyenne River Reservation. Students will work alongside Cheyenne River Sioux tribal members and learn about their history, culture, and the challenges they currently face. We would love for you to join us next summer on our Mission Trip to the Cheyenne River Reservation!

Mark your calendars for an info-packed meeting on September 10th at 7:30pm to dish out all the deets. At the meeting we will go over what a Mission Trip is and why we do them.

Budget-wise, we're looking at around $900 per student, covering the whole trip: lodging, projects, transport, free day activities and yummy grub. Through days of hands-on service, worship, Bible study, and fellowship, youth grow in faith and are inspired to live out their faith. So, grab a slice of the action and let's make mission trip memories together!
