CLC Youth High School Ministry
High schoolers are invited to sign up for youth events and our contact list. We meet throughout the school year for youth group nights and events. Please check the church calendar for those dates.
High School Youth Ministry is open to students in 9th-12th Grade.
Each year we have a summer Youth Trip, either a Mission Trip or the ELCA Youth Gathering (happens every 3 years, next one is 2027).

Our 2027 Summer Youth Trip
Central Lutheran Youth are Heading to the ELCA Youth Gathering in Minneapolis, MN | June 26-July 3, 2027
Every three years, thousands of high schoolers and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) come together for the ELCA Youth Gathering. It’s not just an event but a movement in which faith ignites and community comes alive. Through inspiring speakers, experiential learning and transformative connections, young people experience the church in bold, unforgettable ways. Each night, participants share a unique faith experience through high-energy worship and powerful storytelling. The Gathering is an opportunity to ask big questions, grow in faith and be part of something bigger than yourself. Are you ready to join the movement?
Mark your calendars for an info-packed meeting on September 27th at 10:45am (after worship) to dish out all the deets. At the meeting we will go over what the Youth Gathering is all about.
Budget-wise, we're looking at around $1,800 per student, covering the whole trip: lodging, registration, transportation, activities, and yummy grub. Through days of hands-on learning, worship, Bible study, and fellowship, youth grow in faith and are inspired to live out their faith.
